Selected engagements
Complex situations.
Defensible outcomes.
We are brought into high-pressure environments where incomplete data, fragmented systems and operational uncertainty stand between decision-makers and progress.
01ReconstructTurn fragmented records into a coherent data estate.
02ReconcileEstablish independently tested positions and variances.
03OperationaliseCreate the controls, reporting and systems needed to move forward.
Flagship case study
Rebuilding a trusted beneficiary data foundation during a court-appointed receivership.
i-Convergence was engaged by the appointed Receiver and Manager to support the specialist systems, data-management and reconciliation work required within a complex, international pensions and advisory environment.
Certain details have been generalised to respect the court-led and regulatory context of the engagement.
Fragmented evidence.
No single trusted position. The receivers required reliable beneficiary and asset information to support operations, reporting and court-directed decisions.
Critical beneficiary records, transaction histories and investment positions existed across administration platforms, custodians, investment providers and historical files. Structures and identifiers were inconsistent. Data lineage was incomplete. Variances existed between administration records and underlying asset information.
At the same time, legacy systems and reporting capabilities had to support ongoing operational requirements. The challenge was not simply to analyse data—it was to create a controlled, traceable foundation that could be used with confidence.
What i-Convergence delivered
From data discovery to operational capability.
A connected programme of reconstruction, reconciliation, assurance and platform enablement—delivered alongside the Receiver and Manager.
01
Discover and control the data estate
Identified and extracted relevant beneficiary, custodian, investment, transaction, valuation and reference data through controlled ingestion processes designed for completeness and traceability.
02
Reconstruct beneficiary records
Standardised formats and identifiers, rebuilt policy structures and relationships, and reconstructed historical transaction chains to create coherent beneficiary-level records.
03
Reconcile investments and cash
Tested policy records against investment and custodian data, validating transactions, cash movements, investment positions and corporate actions while identifying and classifying variances.
04
Make the evidence defensible
Implemented exception workflows, traceable data lineage, validation controls and audit-ready evidence so reconstructed positions could support reporting and decision-making.
05
Restore operational capability
Supported the re-establishment of systems, core operational services and beneficiary reporting needed for receivership and transitional operation.
The value delivered
A clearer position—and a stronger basis for action.
The engagement converted a fragmented and operationally difficult data environment into a structured foundation for servicing, reporting, investigation and future transition.
01Trusted beneficiary recordsReconstructed and validated records with clearer policy, investment and transaction relationships.
02Reconciled asset positionsIndependently tested investment and cash information with identified, classified and managed exceptions.
03Operational continuityA usable data and systems foundation supporting beneficiary servicing, communications and reporting.
04Defensible evidenceStructured controls, lineage and documentation supporting receiver, regulatory and court-related requirements.
More selected work
The same discipline, applied to different challenges.
Our work connects data integrity with the operational outcome that depends on it.
01 / Platform migration
Preparing two legacy SIPP books for a new platform.
Created a controlled client-data pool, cleansed and validated source records, and developed an ETL framework for migration into the destination environment.
02 / Digital and operational transformation
Replacing manual omnibus disaggregation across more than $750m AUM.
Combined a new client-engagement platform with scalable back-office reconciliation, supporting more than 2,500 clients and growth beyond $1bn AUM.
